LITIGATION AND ADVOCACY
Our litigation and advocacy work is strategically geared towards advancing the rule of law and defending the human rights of some of the most oppressed individuals, groups and minorities where there has been a violation due to an individual’s sex and/or socially constructed gender roles.
In order to uphold those rights, we engage with a range of international human rights mechanisms in relation to torture, ill-treatment, right to life, right to fair trial/remedies, freedoms of expression/assembly and right to liberty.
